SVDP TOY DRIVE - UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT

Dear Religious Education Families:

We would like to thank all of you who brought in toys and/or gifts for the St. Vincent de Paul Toy Drive of the Parish.  It is only through your support and generosity that all of the work that the Church does is fulfilled.

However, we are saddened to inform you that this past late Sunday night / early Monday morning, the trailer being used to store the toys was stolen off the property of the parish.  Local authorities have been notified of the incident; however, we are left with a very unfortunate situation.

In light of what has happened, St. Vincent de Paul has extended their toy drive collection.  They are appealing to the generosity of the parish so that they can still provide for the needy children in our community.  If you are able to donate any additional toys, it will be greatly appreciated.  You may bring any toys to the parish office up until this Thursday, December 19th.  The delivery of the toys will take place shortly after.

Together, we can bring a smile to many children this Christmas as we perform a deed of charity for our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

Thank you, and may God bless you for your generosity.
