CONFIRMATION - Things to Know

At the beginning of the year, each candidate received a packet with the “Things to Know” in preparation for their Confirmation.  We gave them this list of prayers and important concepts early in the year so that they could have ample time to learn them.
This past week, we gave each candidate an additional copy of the "Confirmation – Things to Know" packet.  Please make sure that your candidate is reviewing the prayers and learning the concepts in the packet.  At the beginning of March, we will be evaluating each candidate to see whether they have learned all of these items in preparation for their Confirmation.
As stated at the Confirmation Parent-Candidate Meeting, each candidate for Confirmation needs to have a basic foundation of knowledge of our Catholic faith.  As they are confirmed, they will be called to spread and defend the Catholic faith and continue the mission of Christ in building up the Kingdom of God.
If your candidate needs another copy of the “Confirmation – Things to Know” packet, it is available on our website,, in the “CONFIRMATION” tab page.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you, and God bless you.
