WEDNESDAY CLASSES ONLY!

This is a reminder that this week, we have the rehearsal for the celebration of Confirmation.

Thursday, April 22nd, 2021
  • We will have the rehearsal for the Confirmation Mass.
  • Both your child and their sponsor need to be here no later than 5:30 pm at the patio area outside the Chapel.
  • Rehearsal will run until approximately 7:00 pm.
  • Please be here to pick up your child at 7:00 pm outside the Chapel.
  • Gowns will be distributed to the candidates at the end of the rehearsal.
  • The guidelines and procedures we will be following for the rehearsal can be found below.
  • We remind you of the importance of taking the necessary precautions at this time to ensure that all of our candidates, sponsors, and families remain safe and well prior to the Confirmation.

**Please remind your child’s sponsor that he/she MUST attend the rehearsal with your child.**

ATTENDANCE AT THE REHEARSAL IS MANDATORY FOR BOTH CANDIDATE AND SPONSOR.

Please remember the dress code of the program:
NO crocs, flip flops, tank tops, sleeveless shirts/dresses, gym shorts, leggings, or “short” shorts/skirts (must come down to the knee).
Please remember that we will be in the church, and the dress code will be enforced.

  • Students in the Wednesday Classes do NOT have regular class on Wednesday, April 21st.  They need to be present with their sponsor at the rehearsal on Thursday, April 22nd.

The following are the guidelines and procedures that we will be following for the rehearsal.
  • All candidates and sponsors are required to wear a face mask and keep it on over the nose and mouth at all times.  All catechists and staff will also be wearing face masks for the duration of the rehearsal.
  • All candidates and sponsors will need to follow social distancing guidelines (maintain a distance of 6 feet between other candidates and sponsors).
  • Upon arriving, candidates and sponsors need to sign in with one of the catechetical leaders, and have their temperatures checked.  Anyone whose temperature is above 100°F will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to leave.
  • Each candidate and sponsor must enter together, and remain together for the duration of the rehearsal.
  • Candidates and sponsors will be taken by the catechist to the church via the entrance through the chapel.
  • Each pair (candidate and sponsor) will be seated 6 feet apart from others in their places in the pews.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available as needed.
  • No parents or other family members will be allowed inside the church during the rehearsal.
  • Since the chapel remains closed during the day, no parents or other family members will be allowed inside in the chapel during the rehearsal.
  • If anyone is sick or displays symptoms of illness, such as fever, coughing, headache, fatigue, or upset stomach, or if the candidate or sponsor is required to quarantine, please send an email to the Religious Education Office, and stay home.  We will email you with regards to how we will proceed.

These guidelines and procedures are in place to promote the safety and well-being of our students and families.  Please review these guidelines with your child and their sponsors so that we can have a smooth and safe rehearsal.  Let us be prudent in adhering to these guidelines, and we know that the rehearsals will lead to a beautiful celebration of Confirmation.

Thank you for your cooperation.
