As we informed all our First Communion classes this week, we will be doing the evaluations next class (Saturday, April 13, Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17)  for the material in the “Things to Learn – Part IV
handout given to your child and emailed to you back at the beginning of March.  The handout contains the parts of the Mass and some Eucharistic vocabulary words that are important in understanding the significance of the Mass.
  • (If you need a copy of the handout, it is available on the “First Communion Page” of our website.)
We will be seeing whether each student has learned these important concepts pertaining to the Eucharist.  They will be asked to fill in the parts of the Mass as well as match the terms and vocabulary with their appropriate definitions.  This is to ensure that they have a good grasp of the significance of the Eucharist that they will be receiving for the first time in just a few weeks.

As before, we are asking for your assistance in going over these concepts and terms together with your child as he/she prepares to receive this special gift that our Lord Jesus Christ has given to us: His Body and Blood in the Eucharist.
Thank you, and God bless you.
